✅ PARAGUAYAN STUDIES JOURNAL
The Journal of Paraguayan Studies (RESPY), with print ISSN: 0251-2483 and digital ISSN: 2520-9914, is an indexed, open access, scientific, peer-reviewed publication that employs a "double-blind" peer review system. It is published semiannually: in June (publication period for the first semester) and December (publication period for the second semester) of each year. Since December 2022, it has adopted the open license: CC BY-NC.
Its first edition dates back to 1973, and it is currently under the auspices of the Center for Anthropological Studies of the "Nuestra Señora de la Asunción" Catholic University (CEADUC). In its OJS - digital-web version, it has been incorporating content from Volume 38, Issues 1 and 2 - Year 2020, onwards. Previous editions, starting from the first one in 1973, can be found on Academia.edu profiles or in the Journal's Google Drive.
With over 50 years of activity, the Paraguayan Studies Journal has become one of the most important and prestigious platforms for social scientific research related to studies on Paraguay.

The mission of the Paraguayan Studies Journal is to primarily publish the results of national and international scientific research conducted in the social and humanities areas that focus on Paraguay. This is aimed at contributing to the scientific progress of the country.

To be the national and international reference for scientific publications in the social and humanities areas that focus on Paraguay, with high standards of scientific quality and methodological rigor.
✅ OBJECTIVES
The objective of the Paraguayan Studies Journal is to disseminate scientific knowledge through original findings of scientific research contributing to the development in the social and humanities areas of Paraguay. This includes works, products of scientific research, and theoretical reflections that, due to their relevance, deserve to be published, thus contributing to showcasing intellectual production related to Paraguay and its humanistic and social issues.
✅ SCOPE
The Paraguayan Studies Journal only accepts "original scientific articles" on topics of a philosophical, sociological, historical, pedagogical, political, economic, anthropological, artistic, and related nature, targeting researchers, teachers, and students in social sciences focusing on Paraguay.
By "original scientific article," it is understood: works resulting from primary research, which disseminate the findings of the conducted investigation. They must adhere to the editorial standards requested by the Journal.
